As a former Chief Engineer. Hans de Priester has over 25 years in the Marine field, From the spares required to the restocking of basic provisions, Hans provides a wealth of knowledge for all vessels arriving in Curacao. Hans was born in the Netherlands and at the age of 17 moved with his family to the beautiful island of Curacao. It was here he fell in love with ships and began a career in Marine Engineering.

Marylou Briones de Priester worked as a licensed catering employee for one of the biggest catering Companies in Holland. With their combined background, they launched a Chandlery business for Curacao, providing fresh food, provisions and other marine supplies for vessels coming to the island.

The business started initially doing small orders. In addition to general provisions they offer a complete Chandlery supply business with Engine Parts, Deck Supplies, Galley Equipment, Electrical Components, Cabin Stores, Paint, Rope, Life Saving Equipment. And much, much more. These orders became the core of our business.  As a result of our increased client base, the business has been rebranded too ‘PSS Curacao Chandler’ to signify not only the position in the marketplace but also the global audience that is catered for.
